TESTIMONIAL:
"I wanted to share our final Ofsted report with you as we are all over the moon that we were rated Outstanding!
I personally wanted to contact you as I feel that attending many of your training courses contributed greatly to this award as we were able to make so many improvements to our service. When you read the report you will also see some of your terminology, and in particular the Inspector loved how we captured ‘niggles’.
I also told her all about your training and she wrote your name down to share with other agencies!
A huge thank you to you Catherine." - Debi Atkin, Family Fostering
Would you benefit from having a critical friend come into your organisation and provide an overview of all aspects of your service to ensure you are “safe”, “compliant” and “robust”?
A mock inspection will help you to ensure that you have identified your strengths and vulnerabilities prior to an Ofsted inspection. Our role would be to work alongside you to ensure you can provide the evidence required to “shine” during this short inspection.
Our role is not only to support you to improve evidence of policy and practice but to offer guidance and solutions where gaps are identified. This evaluation/approach is useful to identify areas for development and to provide a focused “action plan” to help you achieve any gaps.
I have experienced many inspections over the years within the public and independent sector and been fortunate enough alongside my amazing teams to achieve “outstanding” in every single one.
Our process is transparent, honest and respectful. We want the experience to mirror the Ofsted Inspection as much as possible whilst being interactive, supportive and a positive learning experience.
We will conduct the Mock inspection over 3 full days, at the end of each day we will meet with you for “a reflective feedback session” – where you can also expect a written account of the day’s findings. Our 4th day is to consider any last points and focus on writing a short report, with action points.
Following the Mock inspection if you need additional support to achieve any points then we would be happy to help you develop further (see our consultation section), or you might see a useful course on our programme. Finally, we can offer bespoke training to your agency – this is proving popular for organisations as this provides a “learning together” opportunity with an independent critical friend.
For the whole service, we charge £2500.
Here's another quote we received from a recent Mock Inspection:
"We were actually inspected a week after our Mock Inspection with CLFS. Although we didn’t have a lot of time between the Mock Inspection ending and the real one starting to process the Mock experience, it certainly got us Ofsted ready which was a huge help for the real thing."
