As a “critical friend” I would ensure that you felt motivated to overcome the challenges you face. The consultancy service within CLFS will ask meaningful questions, seek clarity and provide focus to help achieve the outcomes you desire. 

We can also offer consultation on setting up and managing a new agency. Catherine set up her own Fostering Agency 10 years ago and achieved an “outstanding” fostering judgment after 12 months. Catherine also has extensive knowledge of the Due Diligence process at time of acquisition, she has had experience of being “acquired” and also “acquiring” small and medium sized Fostering Agencies in to one service. She understands the process and tasks needed to be undertaken, but also understands the dynamics around “change management”. Please see our “Courses” tab for more information on this.

As a fostering professional, I feel informed to provide analysis and recommendations based on my own knowledge and experience. Having led 3 Fostering Agencies in the public and private sectors to an “Outstanding” fostering judgement, I can advise, mentor, and coach your organisation. I can also help create a SMART business plan and provide strategies on how to achieve it.

Through problem solving I can enhance strategic thinking to offer realistic, supportive solutions that improve business performance.

• Preparing for Ofsted - we can deliver a mock inspection – this will offer solutions and help develop an understanding of how to achieve “good” or “outstanding” in advance of your inspection. We will then help you put these solutions into practice

• A review of your policies and procedures, then help to create process charts to ensure your whole team understand what is expected of them
• Achieving consistency – I have experience of supporting 5 acquisitions to become one organisation
