Audit Days

At CLFS, we appreciate that not all budgets stretch to a full “mock inspection” and maybe a full programme might seem too intrusive or not necessary at the time - however, you might prefer a shorter external overview of where you are up to in your service right now. In fact some agencies have opted for either the full mock process annually, or an annual “housekeeping” day where Catherine can take a deep dive and see where your priorities might want to lie, and how you have progressed each year with learning and development.

Our new Audit Day service will provide a shorter but still thorough version of our Mock Inspection, taking place over one day, rather than three. We will go about our task in exactly the same way, with Catherine going over the provided resources with a fine-tooth comb. 

As per the mock inspection, the one day audit will help you to ensure that you have identified your strengths and vulnerabilities prior to an Ofsted inspection, or when considering your annual service plan, and how you hope to address any themes/patterns to inform your year ahead.

Our role is not only to support you to improve evidence of policy and practice but to offer guidance and solutions where gaps are identified.

Our process is transparent, honest and respectful. Even in the one day we are together we want the experience to mirror the inspection process as much as possible whilst being interactive, supportive, and a positive learning experience.

At the end of the day we will meet with you for “a reflective feedback session” – where you can also expect a written account of the day’s findings, with action points.

Following the audit day, you might decide to progress to a full Mock inspection - or require further direction or additional support to achieve any goals.

The cost for the Audit Day is £750.
